DEPENDABILITY MODEL OF AN ITEM UNDER UNRELIABLE CHECK-OUT OPERATIONS

Background. An analytic model of a functioning item under regular period between checks and unreliable check-out operations is represented. The model is intended for perfection of design and maintenance of technical systems. The aim of the article is forming such model.
Materials and methods. The model is based on the theory of Markov processes in continuous time and semimarkov processes using matrix methods for mathematical operations. The model can be applied for items and systems based on electronic equipment.
Results. Consideration of the model reveals the influence of check-out errors of the first and the second kind and other parameters on the dependability level. Relations between parameters are derived using the model.
Conclusions. The model is the result of generalization and perfection of operation of systems based on electronic equipment. The truthfulness of the model is confirmed by mathematical argumentation and comprehension of system operation and condition monitoring.
